Vessels Index

The Vessels Index is not visible to Ship Operators, who should instead use Linked Vessels.

The Vessels Index is accessed by clicking Vessels under INDUSTRY INDEXES, in the left-hand menu.

The Vessels and Companies available in Hub, and relationships between them, are automatically populated from industry sources and augmented by a dedicated support team with manual amendments as required.

This approach ensures the datasets are complete, up-to-date and avoid any duplication or inaccuracy.

At a high level Vessels are categorised into four categories: Tanker, Barge, Offshore & Misc Vessel. Hub then calculates more granular Vessel Types (i.e. LNG Tanker, US Offshore Tug etc.) dependent on complex mappings based on industry data.

Clicking the Vessel Details button (  ) will open the Vessel Details page where you may view any Documents, Photos, Dialogues, Hub Reports and Data Shares related to the Vessel and to which you have access.
