Global Data Shares

Global Data Shares allow data to be shared with all or many Hub users at once. They offer the same flexibility and granularity as Data Shares, with the notable exception that Voyage Logs may never be included, due to their commercial sensitivity.

Create the Data Share

  1. In the left-hand menu under LINKED DATA, click on Data Shares.
  2. In the upper right, click Data Share Management
  3. In the drop-down list that appears, click Create Global Data Share.

Configure the Data Share Parameters

Global Data Shares are configured in the same way as generic Data Shares, with two differences:

  • Voyage Logs may not be included, due to their commercial sensitivity.
  • The Share can be restricted to specific Organisation Types (Charterer, Ship Operator, Inspector, Classification Society, Terminal Operator, Associate Organisation).

Create the Data Share

Click Create Global Data Share.

The Global Data Share has now been created, and will become active as soon as the Data Available From date is reached.
