Dialogues Overview
Dialogues are a key feature of Marine Data Hub and allow different organisations to efficiently and securely exchange information.
The core of each Dialogue is a message board in which participating organisations added to the dialogue may exchange messages, create and assign Hub Reports and share files with one another.
Participants can be added and removed at any point throughout the Dialogue to streamline communication and additionally ensure that users can only see appropriate information.
A Dialogue must always have a subject asset (a Vessel, Terminal or Company).
Dialogue Statuses
Dialogues may be Open, Closed or Archived.
Dialogues are Open when created and may only be Closed when any Hub Reports created within them have been completed or archived, however a Dialogue may be Archived at any time.
Dashboard Module
Active Dialogues assigned to the current user will appear in the Active Participating Dialogues module on the Dashboard.
